Terms and Conditions of Service for the SJMBC Mobile App

Article 1 - General Scope and Agreement These Terms and Conditions (T&C) govern your use of the SJMBC mobile app ("App") and website (https://sjmbc.goodbarber.app), operated by St. John Missionary Baptist Church in Richmond, California ("SJMBC").

By accessing or using the App or website, you agree to be bound by these T&C. If you do not agree, do not use the App or website.

SJMBC may update or modify these T&C at any time without notice. Continued use of the App or website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

You must be at least the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the App. If you are a minor, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

You may not use the App or website for any illegal or unauthorized purpose. You must not attempt to compromise the integrity, security, or functionality of our services.

Article 2 - Content and Intellectual Property All content available via the App or website is the property of SJMBC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may use the content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, transmit, reuse, download, repost, copy, or use the content for commercial purposes without written permission from SJMBC.

You are prohibited from copying or imitating the App, website, branding, logos, or visual identity.

Article 3 - Subscription and Payment (Only applicable if future versions include paid content or features.)

Currently, the SJMBC app does not require subscriptions or in-app purchases.

Article 4 - Registration Process Registration may be required to access certain features. If applicable, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.

Do not share your account with others. Notify us immediately at info@sjmbc.org if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Third-party sign-ins (e.g., Apple, Google, Facebook) may be supported. Use of those services is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms.

Article 5 - Warranties Content is provided "as is" and "as available." SJMBC makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content. Use the App and website at your own risk.

Article 6 - User-Generated Content and Conduct Users are solely responsible for any content they submit. Do not upload or share anything abusive, illegal, threatening, discriminatory, or malicious.

SJMBC may remove any content or suspend user access for violations without notice.

Article 7 - Liability SJMBC is not liable for damages resulting from interruptions, viruses, third-party access, or unauthorized use of the App or website.

Article 8 - Third-Party Links The App or website may contain links to third-party content not controlled by SJMBC. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those external sites.

Article 9 - Disclaimer of Warranties SJMBC does not warrant that the App or website will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure. All use is at your own risk.

Article 10 - Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SJMBC from any claims, liabilities, or expenses resulting from your use of the App, your violation of these T&C, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

Article 11 - Severability If any part of these T&C is found invalid or unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.

Article 12 - Termination SJMBC may suspend or terminate access to the App or website at any time without notice. Users may stop using the App at any time.

Article 13 - Governing Law and Venue These T&C are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Contra Costa County, California.
